In the event of total destructionof the instrument or loss due to fire or theft, thelessee is responsible for 70% of the retail value.The lessor will accept this total, less thedeductible portion of the lessee’s householdinsurance, as payment in full. The lessee mustpresent proof of insurance and report the theft tothe police within 24 hours.
