White House of Music is proud to introduce the White House of Music Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to making "Music for Life" possible for all music students.
In 1953, White House of Music made a commitment to provide “Music for Life” to students, musicians, educators, and families throughout Wisconsin. Through the years, we watched as young musicians began their musical journeys through our programs and services. We believe all young people should have the opportunity to create, love, and be inspired by music. We created the White House of Music Foundation to ensure all interested children receive the tools and support they need to make “Music for Life.”
White House of Music Foundation loans instruments and provides scholarships for music lessons or music camps for young music students who may not otherwise be able to enjoy these opportunities or participate in music. The Foundation is supported entirely by voluntary donations from patrons and community members who believe that all children should have the opportunity to experience making music.
To be eligible to receive an instrument on loan or scholarship monies from the Foundation, applicants must:
Be between the ages of 5 - 18
Be enrolled in a licensed K-12 public, private or parochial school in the state of Wisconsin
Collect the signatures of the student's parent/guardian, school music teacher, AND one school administrator
Make a tax-deductible donation of used instruments or music equipment by visiting any White House of Music location. Learn more about White House of Music Foundation below, or contact us at any time. We can also be reached at 262.798.9700 x103.
